I'm not dead. Really.
But it really was a nice rest from Livejournal ever since I graduated a week ago. Even obsessions need breaks, after all~
Anyway, went to the dentist this morning, she says my teeth have perfect care (like usual, I rarely get cavaties anymore). Then I picked up my diploma (might I add the word "finally", as we were SUPPOSED to get them Mon or Tues, but BCC had not posted their grades yet at the time, so they wouldn't allow me to pick it up until my PE credit was confirmed).
---
I also signed up for more hours at work. No classes = work more = money.

I've been playing Apollo Justice with my brother some more. We're on the third case. I also got Tales of Phantasia for GBA (thought I'd never find this one!) and Elite Beat Agents (it was only $15). Truly amusing games. And yay for having a Gamestop Card that allows me to get 10% off all used games, in which they were.
Tales of Phantasia: Very much like Tales of Symphonia or Tales of the Abyss, as it was the first "Tales of" game created (back on the Super Nintendo). The characters are fun, but not as much as Abyss of Symphonia. Of course, I just started playing, but I can tell that the depth is not as great since it was for an older system, so the game will definitely be much shorter. I still love Klarth, though. He's similar to a combination of Zelos and Jade with even a bit of Dist thrown in. Anyway, this is a fun RPG that is NOT like Final Fantasy 7 in its battle style...it's not turn based. You actually get to MOVE AROUND, which is how Abyss and Symphonia are like as well. A+ FOR THAT.
Elite Beat Agents: One word. RANDOM. But fun. I had heard a lot of good things about this game... The gameplay is similar to my conducting-an-orchestra game I got in Japanese, actually. Anyway, there's a song played, and you have to touch and slide on the beats on the screen on beat to rack up points. The randomness is here: each little level has a story that goes with it, such as Leonardo da Vinci wanting to date and paint a girl who resembles the Mona Lisa, but she's a tough customer. And the one I'm stuck on now is where you're a white blood cell trying to fight off a virus for a guy who needs to run at a track meet the next day. So, in conclusion? Pick the game up if you're bored and want something fresh.

Oh, I've decided on my cosplays.
San Diego ComiCon:
-Koki Kariya (The World Ends With You) - The wig will be fun to style, yet hard to bring...and I get to make his awesome hoodie~ Oh, and the weird thing that hangs by his waist.
-Dr. James Wilson (House MD) - Easy cosplay. Just waiting on the wig. Also need to iron the doctor's coat I got.
-Klavier Gavin (Apollo Justice) - Waiting on the wig so I can style it. Also need to make his "G" necklace and find some silver rings.
KumoriCon:
-Komui Li (D. Gray-Man) - Re-using cosplays is fun!
-Sanae Hanekoma (The World Ends With You) - I'm winning a bid on a vest that looks like his, but it's not over yet. Also need to style my wig.
-Kyon (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu) - Can't find that damn blazer in the right color!!
-Klavier Gavin (Apollo Justice) - Re-using cosplays is fun!
Yes, I have four this year. Since we have a hotel, I shall change on the day I have the Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice photoshoot.
Aki Con: (the new one-day one in September)
-Koki Kariya?? Nonetheless, it will be one I've previously worn, as I'm tackling four (although fairly simple) cosplays at the moment, so I'm not really up for another one so soon.

Ending grades are in!
Japanese 103 - A
Karate - A
Psychology 100 - B- (Only because I flunked the project that was worth 20% of my grade or something, guuuuh. Thank God it's still a B.)
Orchestra - A

I signed up for more hours at work too! But they haven't given them to me yet. I think it's just that Target's getting so many employees and they're cutting back on hours, so... I'm still only at 15 hours/week.
Ah, I see. Well, I just asked for mine yesterday, so I probably will get them not next week but the week after due to scheduling issues.
